Super easy homemade cake batter ice cream is filled with chunks of Golden Oreos and then added to a Golden Oreo pie crust! This no-bake treat is perfect for the summer months, kids and adults alike love this Golden Oreo Cake Batter Ice Cream Pie Recipe!

Summer is alive and kicking here in So Cal! Nothing like a hot and sweaty day to make me happy. I often find myself getting ready for work and sticking my head in the freezer to cool off before I put my makeup on. I can't help it I get so hot so easily. Sometimes I feel like I am having hot flashes but then I remember I am only 25.
When the freezer is too full for me to stick my face in to cool down sometimes I make a breakfast smoothie to cool down and on days that I have no self-control, which let's be honest is more often than not, I reach for some frozen treat. I know a way to start your day off right Elizabeth!
Let me tell you this was an AWESOME way to start my day off. I absolutely adore anything with an Oreo crust and then add sprinkles AND ice cream?!! Hello BABY!! Get me in!! I won't lie though, this pie is extra sweet as in you only need a sliver unless you are a sugar addict like myself then just eat the whole damn thing 😉
Let's get to the recipe
Ingredients
For this recipe, we will make a simple oreo crust and a cheaters ice cream recipe. You could use a store-bought Oreo pie crust and store-bought ice cream if you want.
To make the crust all you need are Golden Oreos and melted butter!
For the ice cream you need:
- Heavy Whipping Cream. Make sure it's heaving whipping cream, it needs to whip up into stiff peaks.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk. This thick, sweet milk mixture is the second half of the ice cream base.
- Yellow Cake Mix. You just need a bit of the mix, you could use leftovers to make the cake batter puppy chow recipe.
- Sprinkles. Jimmies work better than nonpareils sprinkles. I used a combo of mostly jimmies and a few nonpareils. You'll want some extra sprinkles to decorate the top of the pie.
- Golden Oreos. Just take a few and crush them into bite-size pieces.
Don't miss my homemade Viennetta Ice Cream Cake or Oreo Ice Cream Cake. And if you have leftover heavy whipping cream this whipped cream cake is so good!
For ingredient quantities please reference the recipe card below. On the recipe card there is a button for US or M (Metric) measurements.
Instructions
Crush Oreos in a food processor until a fine crumb is formed or in a plastic bag with a rolling pin crushing them. In a medium bowl combine crushed Oreos and butter until fully combined.
Press mixture into a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate, making sure to make an even layer that goes high up on the sides of the pie plate.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment or a large bowl with an electric hand mixer whisk the heavy cream on medium-high until stiff peaks form.
Meanwhile in a bowl combine condensed milk, cake mix, and sprinkles.
Add half of the condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream, gently folding it in, be careful not to mix too aggressively or you will knock the air out.
Add the remaining condensed milk mixture into the heavy whipping cream, mixing until just combined. Then gently fold in the crushed Oreos.
Pour into the prepared pie crust. I use an angled spatula to spread it into an even layer.
Sprinkle the sprinkles on top, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
When ready to serve use a large knife dipped in hot water to slice the pie. Store leftovers in the freezer covered tightly for up to a month.
