Let's get to the recipe
Ingredients Notes
For these extra decadent Rice Krispies Treats you will need:
- Mini Marshmallows. You'll divide the marshmallows between two parts of the recipe, first to make the sauce and then towards the end, so you end up with gooey marshmallow bits in the final product. You could use large marshmallows and cut them up for when you mix the remaining marshmallows into the treats.
- Cocoa Powder. When testing this recipe I tried with and without cocoa powder. Adding cocoa powder gives an intense chocolate flavor to the treats.
- Cocoa Rice Krispies. Now you could get away with just using regular Rice Krispies cereal but I love Cocoa Krispies.
