Calling all chocoholics, only five ingredients are needed to make this delicious chocolate dump cake recipe. This scrumptious cake is full of rich, chocolate flavor. Step-by-step photos teach you how to make this simple cake!

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 Servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 Tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 15.25oz Box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 3.4oz Box Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 10oz (1 1/4 Cup) Whole Milk
  • 1/2 - 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F/180C and grease a 9" X 13" pan with non-stick baking spray.
  2. Add the chocolate cake mix and melted butter to the pan and stir together until combined.
  3. Sprinkle the chocolate pudding mix all over the top in an even layer. Pour milk all over, again in the best even layer that you can do. Then sprinkle chocolate chips on top, one cup is quite indulgent but delicious!
  4. Bake for 33-38 minutes, the top should look set, if it jiggles slightly that is okay. Best served warm with ice cream.
