Step 1

In a large pot over medium heat brown the butter until melted, smell nutty, and golden flecks have formed.

Once your butter has browned add your marshmallows, mix together softly.

Mix over low heat to allow the marshmallows to melt evenly.

You should have a smooth sauce with only a few marshmallow lumps.

Once the majority of your marshmallows have melted add your rice cereal.

Before it has completely combined add the remaining marshmallows

Pour into a greased 9X13 pan. And using a spatula press down evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool for an hour before cutting.
