Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Step 1

Brown butter and add to cold cubed butter to melt together.

Beat the butter and sugars together.

Cream Butter & Sugars

Add in the egg, yolk, and vanilla and mix for a couple of minutes, the mixture will lighten in color eventually.

Add Egg and Vanilla

Step 3

In a separate bowl mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, espresso powder, and cornstarch.Slowly add flour mixture to the butter mixture

Mix Dry Ingredients

Fold in chocolate chunks. Mix until just combined, don't overmix.

Add the Chocolate

Place dough covered in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Scoop and Chill

Step 7

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until just set and lightly golden brown. If desired sprinkle sea salt on each cookie as you take them out of the oven
